LA Galaxy Forward, Gyasi Zardes, Has Been Linked to Turkish Club, Galatasaray

A Turkish website has linked LA Galaxy forward and United States’ international, Gyasi Zardes, to club side, Galatasaray, of the Süper Lig.

Sporx.com has linked current LA Galaxy forward, Gyasi Zardes, to Galatasaray. The Süper Lig club is coming off of a season where they finished sixth in the league table. They are looking to bolster their attacking threat with the United States’ international.

Zardes has played in 11 of the 12 total matches for the LA Galaxy this season. He has started 10 of those games and he has scored four goals on the year. He also has four assists on the season which is tied for second most of the team.

Gyasi has played for the LA Galaxy since the 2013 season. He has made 107 appearances for the team over the past four seasons. He has also netted 30 regular season goals for the Los Angeles based club.

Zardes is only 24-years old and he still has a lot of room to grow. His pace makes him a great attacking threat and while his first touch has been questioned by critics, he continues to produce for both club and country. He will also feature in the Copa America Centenario for the United States.

Gyasi’s name has been linked to multiple clubs and rumors have been swirling regarding a transfer. He has previously been linked to clubs like KRC Genk, Reading, and Brighton and Hove Albion. Zardes has not been questioned about the recent rumors but that is all that they are for now.

It will be interesting to see where these rumors go and if they will continue in the future. It is unlikely that the LA Galaxy will move one of their premier players in Gyasi Zardes but anything could be possible.
