AS USA reports that one of the major ambitions of the LA Galaxy is to reunite Marco Reus with Robert Lewandowski in Los Angeles, as the two are close friends.

MLS has become an attractive destination for top stars, with Lionel Messi's arrival at Inter Miami opening doors for players like Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, Olivier Giroud, Luis Suárez, Hugo Lloris, and other renowned footballers to land in the United States.

The upcoming summer transfer window hints at big names orbiting around Major League Soccer, with Marco Reus already linked and his arrival at LA Galaxy reportedly agreed upon in the coming months.

With Reus's arrival, LA Galaxy aims for a significant restructuring to compete for major honors, aiming to end their title drought as soon as possible. This overhaul includes targeting significant names for the medium and long term.

According to sources close to LA Galaxy, the primary target the Los Angeles side has begun to work on for the future is Polish striker Robert Lewandowski.

While Lewandowski's arrival at LA Galaxy is currently challenging, they are confident in securing his signing for the 2025 MLS season, specifically in the summer of that year. A key factor in realizing this transfer is Marco Reus.

LA Galaxy seeks to replicate Inter Miami's formula with Messi and Suárez. Reus and Lewandowski formed a special friendship during their time at Borussia Dortmund, prompting LA Galaxy to pursue the anticipated reunion, similar to Messi and Suárez at Inter Miami.

For now, Lewandowski will remain a Barcelona player in the club's new era under Hansi Flick, who knows the Polish goal scorer perfectly and can bring out his best.

Lewandowski is under contract with Barcelona until June 2026 with an option for an additional year. However, as part of the restructuring Barcelona plans to renew its squad, his departure could happen sooner, presenting an opportunity for LA Galaxy to sign him.
