The LA Galaxy has announced the completion of the transfer of midfielder Daniel Aguirre to Liga MX side Club Deportivo Guadalajara. The Galaxy will receive an undisclosed transfer fee from Chivas for Aguirre.

"Dan’s progression from Galaxy II member to regular first-team contributor is a source of pride for the Galaxy organization," said LA Galaxy General Manager Will Kuntz. "We are grateful to Dan for his service to the club and wish him the best as he continues on this next step in his journey."

Aguirre joined LA Galaxy II in April 2021, beginning his professional career in the USL Championship. During his time with Los Dos, he recorded three goals and four assists in 35 appearances (33 starts) across two seasons (2021-22). His impressive performance earned him a promotion to the first team, where he played for four seasons (2021-24), contributing two goals and five assists in 60 games (11 starts).

In the 2024 season, Aguirre made 10 appearances for the Galaxy. His most active season came in 2023, when he appeared in 25 regular-season matches (3 starts), tallying one goal and one assist.
