The allure of Major League Soccer (MLS) as a career destination has gained traction, with prominent footballers like Lionel Messi opting for its comforts. Now, another notable name, Hirving "Chucky" Lozano, is contemplating a similar transition, considering a shift from the European football elite to the MLS, an avenue embraced by Messi earlier in 2023.

Lozano, currently plying his trade at PSV, hasn't ruled out the prospect of following in the footsteps of Carlos Vela or Héctor Herrera, seeking a more comfortable lifestyle in the MLS. While thriving in Europe has been his trajectory, Lozano acknowledges that an untried path might be within his life choices, and the MLS falls within that realm of possibility.

The Mexican international was previously linked with a move to the MLS during the last transfer window. However, his desire to continue in Europe prevailed. Despite his aspiration to join the Premier League, a dream he harbored since clinching the title with Napoli in Italy, Lozano opted for a second stint with PSV, where he's currently an instrumental figure in their commanding lead in the Eredivisie.

In a conversation with ESPN, Lozano discussed potential future endeavors post his second spell at PSV. While he didn't mention Liga MX explicitly, he did highlight the prospect of playing in the United States.

"I don't close the door on any league or club. If it's a good option for me and my family, but right now, I'm here at PSV, and I'm very happy," Lozano affirmed.

The midfielder, known for his pivotal goal in Mexico's historic victory over Germany in the 2018 World Cup, has already encountered the temptation of MLS. LA Galaxy had previously expressed interest in acquiring his services, alongside those of Chicharito Hernández, who is currently unattached but active as a streamer.

Should Lozano opt to leave Europe in the upcoming summer transfer window, it would mark the end of an eight-year stint "across the pond," during which he claimed league titles in the Netherlands and Italy, playing a crucial role in what is shaping up to be a historic era for Napoli. Lozano's potential move to the MLS signals a shift in perspective among elite footballers, embracing the prospects and comforts offered beyond the traditional European football landscape.
