According to Dosis Futbolera, Alvaro Morata has reportedly declined an opportunity to join LA Galaxy in January 2024, leaving the Major League Soccer (MLS) team in search of a new striker following the departure of Javier Hernandez at the end of the 2023 season.

The LA Galaxy has been actively seeking a center forward to fill the void left by Hernandez's exit. With two Designated Player slots available after the departures of Javier Hernandez and Douglas Costa, the team was eyeing Morata as a potential addition to reinforce their attacking lineup.

However, despite the vacant spot and the club's interest in bolstering their attacking force, Morata's decision to reject the move has put a pause on the Galaxy's pursuit of a marquee striker. The Spanish forward's choice has left the MLS team seeking alternative options to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.
