The LA Galaxy lost the game, 2-0. Luckily, LAFC and Real Salt Lake also lost on Saturday. This keeps all three teams tied with 41 points in the Western Conference.

LA Galaxy keeper John McCarthy gave up a pair of goals. FC Dallas scored one in each half thanks to Petar Musa and Logan Farrington.

Despite possessing the ball for almost 64% of the game, the Galaxy was not productive with it. They only had nine shot attempts with just one being on target. FC Dallas had twice as many shot attempts and five of which were on target.

It is the first time all season that the LA Galaxy have lost multiple games in the same month. With five losses now, they enter their next game only five points in front of their next opponent, Colorado Rapids (38 points).

What went wrong for the Los Angeles Galaxy?

Aside from the obvious, they got blanked and gave up two goals, and the LA Galaxy offense froze. FC Dallas had the ball less in the game but was more efficient with it.

Saturday would have been a perfect opportunity to get out in front of both LAFC and Real Salt Lake but the Galaxy squandered it. All three teams lost and Colorado gained a point on all three.

Even though there are multiple players on the Galaxy that have scored at will, the absence of forward Dejan Joveljic was felt. At halftime, Marky Delgado was replaced by Miguel Berry. That wasn't enough of a spark for the LA Galaxy to recover being down 1-0.

Instead, their struggles continued as FC Dallas scored another goal of the game within the first ten minutes of the second half. With a short turnaround of four days, the LA Galaxy will host Colorado on Wednesday night.

The five-time MLS Champions can not afford another blunder if they look to capture one of the Western Conference's top seeds come playoff time.

On Saturday evening, the Los Angeles Galaxy saw their struggles continue when playing in Dallas. Their offense went cold, and they had no answer for the host, FC Dallas.
