On Sunday, September 24, the LA Galaxy visited Austin FC for the MLS regular season, in a match that would once again be like something out of a movie. The match ended with a score of 3-3, giving the Galacticos 1 point, and the nervousness around the team's chances of qualifying for the playoffs grew a little more.
The game was getting old (87') and the LA Galaxy was down on the scoreboard 3-1. The feeling was that of a lost match until Dejan Joveljic made an appearance and closed the gap.

After this, with LA Galaxy pushing hard and Austin struggling against the wind, the equalizing goal finally arrived, courtesy of Colombian Michael Barrios, who headed in a cross from Mexican Perez at the far post.
