This Saturday, September 30, the LA Galaxy hosted the Portland Timbers at the Digital Health Sports Park for one more matchday of the MLS regular season. The Galacticos faced this match with the clear and fundamental objective of starting to add 3 points in each of their remaining games.

After dressing up as a hero and tying the game (1-1), Eriq Zavaleta scored an own goal in the 38th minute, so Douglas Costa later (43') corrected the error and gave the local team a partial tie again.

After a cross from Delgado that deflected a Portland defender and then bounced off Edwards, Costa finished without thinking twice, putting the ball in the corner of the goal. Great goal to sweeten his return to the fields.

LA Galaxy's second goal (2-2):

Since the first doubts arose regarding the presence of Riqui Puig, all eyes turned to Douglas Costa. The Brazilian led an LA Galaxy desperate to get 3 points. Well, Costa did not disappoint and appeared on the scoreboard.
