This Saturday, September 16, the LA Galaxy visited LAFC in a new edition of "El Trafico". Both teams would desperately seek victory, for different reasons. For their part, the locals came from three consecutive defeats, while the Galacticos have to start adding 3 points if they do not want to be left out of the playoffs.

Greg Vanney made, in my opinion, the adjustments he needed to make in terms of the team's lineup; Billy Sharp and Marco Delgado started. However, this would not be enough to certify victory.

The Galaxy far outperformed LAFC in passing and possession. The locals accumulated 350 passes and had the ball 38% of the time, while the visitors recorded 575 passes and obtained 62% possession. Still, Steve Cherundolo's team shot 9 times on goal, while the Galaxy only did so... 2 times.

The match ended with a score of 4-2 in favor of LAFC. The home team's goalscorers were Bouanga (23', 75'), Hollingshead (33') and Tillman (84'). On the other hand, the Galacticos scorers of the night were Sharp (25') and Yoshida (59').

The main ones pointed out by the LA Galaxy are Chris Mavinga, for a tremendous defensive error that cost the locals the third goal, and Douglas Costa... for his absence. Without the Brazilian, the Galaxy's attack was quite limited.

The Galacticos' next match is on September 20 at home (fortunately), against Minnesota United. It is not necessary to remember that the LA Galaxy urgently needs to start adding 3 points in all their games.
