The bench: Reus, Joveljic and Fagundez

If your team is good enough to have its leading scorer be out for multiple weeks and you still are in first place of the Western Conference, you know you have a solid squad. That's exactly what Vanney has with the Los Angeles Galaxy.

Joveljic has missed six games already this season due to a lingering hamstring or leg injury. He returned to action the Galaxy's last match against St. Louis City SC. He and Reus could provide the fire power any second unit would beg for.

Yet, Vanney has this at his disposal if wanted. Sure, he could start either one. With Reus, he has yet to play a full game since joining MLS and it has been months since Joveljic has either.

Thus, letting them sit and come in fresh as a substitution could provide a spark for the Galaxy's high-power offense. Fagundez coming off the bench, too, adds another versatile veteran who can create opportunities for others, in addition to himself.

These three have combined for 17 goals and nine assists. Reus has barely played 90 minutes of full soccer in the league yet with his new team. Vanney may not select this lineup. However, it poses its fair share of perks if the Los Angeles Galaxy look to build on its lead in the conference and capture their 10th win in 'El Trafico Derby.'
