LA Galaxy Academy defenders Jose Magana and Harbor Miller have been named to the United States U-18 Men’s Youth National Team roster for The 26th International Youth Football Tournament in Niigata, Japan. The tournament, which runs from September 7-17, will see the U-18 squad competing against top international teams in a series of exciting matches.

Jose Magana and Harbor Miller, both 17, have demonstrated exceptional talent in the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro Regular Season, earning their spots on the U-18 roster. Miller, who has made 14 starts out of 18 appearances for Ventura County FC, has contributed two assists, showcasing his defensive prowess and playmaking ability. Magana, also 17, has made six starts for VCFC, adding one assist to his name. Their selection reflects their impressive performances and potential for future success.

The USMYNT will kick off their campaign against the Niigata Select team at the Niigata Seiro Sports Center Albillage on September 12. Following that, they will take on Japan at the Shibata Ijimino Athletics Stadium on September 14 and wrap up the tournament with a match against Peru at Denka Big Swan Stadium on September 16. The tournament offers a valuable opportunity for the young players to gain international experience and further their development.

In addition to the U-18 team’s success, LA Galaxy Academy defender Colin Mullins has been called up to the Armenian U-15 National Team. Mullins will participate in a training camp in Yerevan, Armenia, before heading to the UEFA U-15 Development Tournament in Moldova from September 14-21. This recognition highlights Mullins’ growing influence and the strong development programs at the LA Galaxy Academy.
