LA Galaxy began the month of September by facing Houston Dynamo last Saturday. After a 0-0 draw, it is time to move on and take stock of the next games of the month, which look like they will be far from easy matches.

To start, the Galacticos will face the leaders of the Western Conference, St. Louis City, this Sunday, September 10. Fortunately for us, the match will take place at home, at the Digital Health Sports Park. The visiting team has won 2 of its last 5 games. A shaky form that the Galaxy can take advantage of? We will see.

Next Saturday, September 16, El Trafico will take place; the derby between LAFC and LA Galaxy, at the Banc of California Stadium. Like St. Louis, the team led by Steve Cherundolo has won 2 of its last 5 games. Regardless of LAFC's form, this match, for obvious reasons, is very important for the Galacticos.

Back home, LA Galaxy will host Minnesota United on Wednesday, September 20. Again, like St. Louis and LAFC, Adrian Heath's team has won 2 of its last 5 games but has also drawn 2 times, losing only to Nashville in the Leagues Cup on August 11 ( 5-0).

Almost at the end of the month, on September 24 LA Galaxy will visit Austin FC. The Texans have not won a single game in their last 5 games. In strict theory, the most acceptable challenge for the Galacticos during this month. But hey, we know what football is like.

To finish the September commitments, Galaxy will face Portland Timbers at home on the 30th of the month. The Timbers have won 1 of their last 5 meetings, with the most recent disappointment being a 2-2 draw against the Seattle Sounders.

Obviously, as the weeks and games go by, the poor form of teams like the Timbers or Austin can lose total relevance. It remains to be seen how all these teams fare ahead of their respective match against LA Galaxy.
