For week 32 of the MLS, the LA Galaxy and the Portland Timbers could not get past a draw this Saturday, and the match ended 3-3. The goals of the match for the local team were scored by Eriq Zavaleta (10', 45') and Douglas Costa (42'). The visitors' goals were scored by Santiago Moreno (5'), Felipe Mora (30'), and Eriq Zavaleta (38', own goal).
Seeking to keep their hopes alive to qualify for the playoffs, the Galaxy intended to overcome the Timbers who were coming off a very positive streak. In the end, the script of the match was very similar to that of recent confrontations. A LA Galaxy capable of reacting to adverse moments, but unable to signal a victory.
The Galacticos' next game doesn't look like it will be easy. LA will visit the Seattle Sounders next Wednesday, October 4, in another matchup that promises to be just as entertaining. Of course, as a fan of either team, that entertainment will surely be reflected in tension.
Later, the LA Galaxy will visit Minnesota United on Saturday, October 7, and then host Real Salt Lake on October 14, and FC Dallas on October 21 at the Digital Health Sports Park.
