The MLS, through its official website, recently conducted a Season Preview for each team ahead of the 2024 season. Here's what they had to say about the LA Galaxy:
First game/Home opener: Feb. 25 - 9 pm ET vs. Inter Miami CF
Armchair analyst's breakdown:
Strength: The LA Galaxy finally utilized a scouting department for signings, bringing in two DP wingers with promising profiles, a seasoned veteran right back, and adopting a new roster-building approach.
Weakness: Despite these improvements, their center backs are predominantly older, and their rest defense remains problematic, leaving them vulnerable to counterattacks.
