The LA Galaxy has made a significant announcement today, revealing the signing of Ruben Ramos Jr., a product of the LA Galaxy Academy, to a three-year contract set to commence in 2025 and extend through the conclusion of the 2027 MLS season, with a club option for 2028.

Ramos Jr., designated as a Homegrown player, is slated to participate in the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro season with LA Galaxy II before transitioning to the main Galaxy roster in 2025.

Aged 17, Ramos Jr. becomes the 19th LA Galaxy Academy product to secure a Homegrown player contract with the club, making him the third-youngest signee in Galaxy history, following Efrain Alvarez (15) and Jack McBean (16).

He notably played a pivotal role in the LA Galaxy Academy U-17 team's triumph over Real Colorado in the final of the 2023 U-17 MLS NEXT Cup, clinching the championship title at Toyota Stadium on June 25, 2023.
