Borussia Dortmund are catching the eyes of many soccer fans across the globe right now. Those LA Galaxy fans who keep a keen eye on the European game will be aware that the team in the iconic black and yellow jersey have secured their spot in the UEFA Champions League final.
It is a huge triumph for the German side and one that not many fans could foresee. They will face Real Madrid in the final, which will be a spectacle worth watching. Certainly, MLS fans will be keeping an eye on one player in particular in the final.
LA Galaxy must consider signing this Borussia Dortmund legend
That player is Borussia Dortmund legend Marco Reus. The Germany international is set to leave BVB after an incredible fourteen years in the first team. Interestingly, Reus also spent time in the late 1990s and early 2000s developing in the infamous Dortmund youth academy.
It is no wonder Reus has turned into the world-class player he is today. After all, he has played alongside some exceptional talents throughout his time for BVB and the Germany international team including Robert Lewandowski, Manuel Neuer and Mats Hummels so he has picked up some great lessons from all over the pitch.
Currently, Marco Reus is pondering his next move when his Borussia Dortmund contract expires this summer. Of course, there will be many options but the signs are pointing towards Reus joining the MLS.
Talking to Canal+ (h/t Goal), former Arsenal, Man City and France superstar Samir Nasri claimed that Marco Reus has his heart set on joining MLS next summer. While the Frenchman did not clarify which club Reus had his eyes on, The Athletic indicated that St. Louis City are in talks with signing Reus.
My question is - When will LA Galaxy be involved in the discussion?

Of course, LA Galaxy operate such decisions throughout many departments. It is not just a case of head coach Greg Vanney spotting the Marco Reus situation and pushing to sign him.
However, the LA Galaxy recruitment team, who have oftentimes located great talents in Europe and beyond, should certainly be considering the acquisition of Marco Reus.
Reus is a versatile star player who could become one of the best players in the Galaxy roster, if not THE best. While he has played as an advanced midfielder mostly this season, he has spent a large chunk of his career playing off the left-wing. Therefore, he could slot into a few different positions for the Galaxy, should they wish to sign him.
Do you think LA Galaxy should sign Marco Reus?
