Former LA Galaxy players trading cleats for clipboards
From the soccer field to the sidelines for these LA Galaxy alumni

3. Paulo Nagamura
The Brazalian midfielder debuted in MLS with the Los Angeles Galaxy in 2005. This was the season that the team won their second championship.
In 54 games with the LA Galaxy, Nagamura never scored. He did produce two assists that year. The team would also win the 2005 US Open Cup, as well.
A season later, Nagamura doubled his assists total and would play in another MLS Championship match with the Los Angeles Galaxy. This time, the squad fell short to the Chicago Fire.
...and that is where he is now. After coaching just one year for the Houston Dynamo in 2022 (just 29 games), Nagamura is now on the sidelines for the Fire as an assistant coach.
