Mexican full-back Julian Araujo recently spoke to Mirror Football, shedding light on various aspects, including his immediate future, his stint at Las Palmas, and his expectations post the conclusion of the season in Spain.
Araujo, who made his debut with LA Galaxy, departed from the Los Angeles-based team to join Futbol Club Barcelona. Following a season, the Catalan club opted to loan him to the recently promoted side in the Spanish top division.
After spending several months with the Canary Islands-based club, Julian Araujo has expressed his desire to don the colors of the Blaugrana again. He asserts that the loan to Las Palmas was strategically planned to aid in his development within Spanish football.
"My plan is to return to Barcelona after this loan; this move was always designed to help me," affirmed the Mexican international and also a defender for the Mexican National Football Team.
In the current campaign with Las Palmas, Araujo has featured in 11 matches, 10 in La Liga and one in the Copa del Rey. In six of these outings, he secured a spot in the starting lineup, accumulating a total of 657 minutes on the field.
