Billy Sharp contemplates career extension after LA Galaxy departure

With 377 appearances and 129 goals at Bramall Lane, Sharp’s return to Sheffield United appears improbable. Having briefly joined Leeds from Southampton in 2014, he transferred to Sheffield United in 2015.

His current availability might intrigue Championship clubs, seeking reinforcements in January, given Sharp’s extensive second-tier experience. Snapping him up before the transfer window opens could be advantageous, considering his recent game time.

During the 2023 season with the LA Galaxy, Billy Sharp showcased impressive form, contributing significantly to the team's performance. In the 12 matches he played, Sharp demonstrated his goal-scoring prowess by netting six goals.
