3. Cobi Jones

The Detroit Michigan native is also a staple in both Los Angeles Galaxy and USMNT history. The talented midfielder joined his only MLS team in 1996.

Growing up in southern California, he did not have to travel far after playing his collegiately at the University of California in Los Angeles. He was a member of the UCLA Bruins from 1988-1991.

Jones would go on to be a part of the 2002 and 2005 MLS Championships teams for the LA Galaxy. He played in over 300 games and shot the ball into the opponent's net 70 times.

During his time with the USMNT, Jones appeared in 164 games between the years 1992 and 2004. He scored 15 times on this stage.

He had the honor of representing his country for the first time in 1992 when the United States traveled to Barcelona to compete in the Summer Olympics that year.
