2. Robust defensive display

Despite pre-match concerns regarding the age of defenders Maya Yoshida and Martin Caceres, the Galaxy's defensive line delivered a commendable performance, showcasing resilience and organization against Inter Miami's formidable attack.

Supported by full-backs Miki Yamane and Julian Aude, as well as goalkeeper John McCarthy, the Galaxy defense remained resolute throughout the match, thwarting numerous attempts from Miami's star-studded lineup.

Edwin Cerrillo, in particular, stood out with his tenacity and defensive contributions, demonstrating maturity beyond his years in containing Inter Miami's threats. The collective effort of the defensive unit limited Miami to minimal scoring opportunities and highlighted the team's defensive capabilities heading into the rest of the season.
