The Frenchman left the elite after South Africa in 2010 by leaving the ranks of Barcelona and joining New York Red Bull. In those times, 'Titi' was the highest-paid soccer player in the MLS with a salary of 5.6 million dollars annually.

A couple of years after his arrival in the United States, Henry had the opportunity to return for a short period of time to Arsenal, a team where he lived the best years of his career.

Thierry Henry was only able to play seven games for the Gunners and score two goals, before rejoining the Red Bull preseason.
