3. Timothy Fosu-Mensah

Currently learning under the legend of the game Xabi Alonso at Bayer Leverkusen, Timothy Fosu-Mensah is another Bundesliga free agent who could be of great service to LA Galaxy.

The defender who spent the majority of his career at Manchester United, coming out of their infamous youth academy, runs out of contract in the Bundesliga from this summer. Ageing at 26 years old, Timothy Fosu-Mensah is worth considering from LA Galaxy's perspective.

Fosu-Mensah is entering the peak of his physical powers but until this point, he has underachieved in Europe. Therefore, providing him with a platform in the United States, it is a free agent deal which makes sense for all parties.

What would LA Galaxy get out of the deal? Well, they would be acquiring the services of a young, energetic and versatile player who can play in a plethora of different positions. Having learnt from some of the best managers in the game including Jose Mourinho and Xabi Alonso, he could teach a thing or two to some of the LA Galaxy roster.
