The LA Galaxy defender has been involved with Care Closet LBC since 2020, participating in various volunteer activities like working in homeless encampments, leading beautification efforts, and organizing supply and food drives.

His community contributions have made him a prominent figure, not just on the soccer field, but also in the local community. Neal expressed his gratitude for being part of the Celebrating Impact series, emphasizing how important it is for him to use his platform to inspire positive social change:

"I’m fortunate to have the platform to help inspire and make a positive impact, and I’m committed to continuing to give back to the broader Los Angeles County community; a place that means so much to me."

In recognition of his community work, Audi will donate $40,000 through its Audi Goals Drive Progress fund to support Care Closet LBC, further helping the organization in its mission.

The initiative initially focused on supporting young soccer players at Major League Soccer academies but has since expanded to include funding for community-driven projects led by MLS players. So far, Audi has donated $5 million to help support MLS academies and charities selected by players.

As part of the year-end recognitions, Audi will present the Audi Goals Drive Progress Impact Award, which includes a $150,000 donation to the winning player’s charity of choice. The finalists for this award will be announced on October 24, and the winner will be recognized at the MLS Cup 2023 presented by Audi.

The talented LA Galaxy defender has played 18 matches during the 2024 Major League Soccer season, starting in 14 of them. According to SofaScore’s statistical engine, Neal has an average rating of 6.77.

Additionally, Neal has also been part of the Galaxy's reserve team in MLS NEXT Pro, Ventura County FC. In this league, he played two matches, starting in one.

The 21-year-old center-back has a market value of 800,000 euros, according to the specialized portal Transfermarkt.
