Bruce Arena’s Los Angeles Galaxy are in a massive push for an MLS Cup Playoffs spot and it continues on Wednesday, Oct. 16 against Marco Schallibaum’s Montreal Impact at StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. With a record of 14-11-6 (48 points), a victory over Montreal could put the pressure on Vancouver, San Jose and FC Dallas.

1. Landon Donovan will play on Wednesday…and score
In Major League Soccer, you sometimes need to play hurt to deliver for your club, and with Landon Donovan being released on Saturday by Jurgen Klinsmann, the onus is on LA’s No. 10 to help secure the Galaxy’s passage to the playoffs. Donovan will score a brace and an assist.
2. Here come Gyasi Zardes

Also with an assist this game will be Marcelo Sarvas, who has six assists this season and has been reliable in the midfield.
