Daryoush Yazdani’s Los Angeles Blues were looking to scratch and claw their way back into contention for a spot in the USL Pro playoffs. With everything to gain, they took the next step into doing so on the road at Highmark Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pa.
After Jose Angulo put the Pittsburgh Riverhounds ahead, the Blues left it late thanks to goals from Duach Jock in the 64th minute and Matthew Fondy in the 89th minute of play to give the Blues a 2-1 victory.

On Saturday, Jul. 13, the Blues return to Titan Stadium on the campus of California State University, Fullerton to face Antigua Barracuda FC. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. PT/10:30 p.m. ET.
